Top side of the eyelash fringe: apply the brush to the top side of the upper eyelash fringe, starting at the base of the eyelashes and pressing the brush between the lashes while pulling them upwards. For best results, do this with a zigzagging movement.

Underside of the eyelash fringe: hold the brush horizontally, parallel with the upper eyelash fringe. Brush the upper eyelashes from root to tip, pulling them outwards.
